Undergrowth
This garden is code. It has been growing since you arrived, and it is leaning toward your cursor right now.
Field note 01 · Phototropism
It grows toward you
Every branch steers by two forces: a noise field that gives it wander, and your cursor, which acts as sunlight. Hold still and the canopy will find you.
Field note 02 · Seasons
Four seasons, ninety seconds
New growth takes the color of the current season: spring chlorophyll, summer viridian, autumn spore-gold, winter lichen. Old growth stays, like rings in a tree.
Field note 03 · Mortality
Every branch ends in a flower
Branches carry a life budget. Spending it is what makes them bloom. The petals you see are death events, which is roughly how gardens work.
Nothing here was drawn.
It was all grown.
